Craig's show in Cincinnati

I finally saw Craig and crew in Cincinnati last night! Man, 6 months is a long time! haha Haven't seen them since November!
Craig looked awesome, of course! I think he's been playin outside in his "off time" - he had a sweet lookin tan goin'! No sunburned racoon-eyes so far! LOL Seriously, he looked great.
To start off his show, he came out and jumped up on the wall separating the first level and ran his way up to the stage. They really had the sound system rockin last night. I think Craig sounded better than I've ever heard him in a "big" venue. In spite of the short set, we did have a blast. There's just somthing about that man when he sings "Easy Like a Sunday Mornin'"...if you guys have ever seen him sing that song, you know what I mean.... Personally, I think we should all petition Craig to put "Easy..." on the album he is working on - with "Behind Closed Doors" too! I absolutely absolutely LOVE the way he sings that song!...Okay, well, I love ALL the songs he sings - but these two have a tendency to make me forget I am married and have 7 children!
The guys all look fabulous, although I am dying to ask Zack why he cut his hair! LOL And Travis is BLONDE! Rob said he's "trying something new"...hmmm
Meloney and I were the only 2 fan club members in the meet and greet line - and there was only like 13 people total! It was the smallest m&g line I've been in so far. Chris was his usual dry-humored sarcastic self - smiled when he saw us & came up and gave us a hug. Then in his "official" voice started directing the meet and greet line. Asked me if I wanted to go last "as usual"...I said "of course I do!" He gave me that "LOOK" pointed his finger at me and said "Hey! You better watch it, or I'll make you go first!" (which he knows I hate! LOL) We laughed all the way down the hall. So, we're standing there waiting, and all of a sudden I turn around, and there is Craig - BEHIND me! LOL and then Carrie Underwood walked right past us! She is a tiny thing! LOL
We had great time. I am sure the guys are missing their families, this tour schedule is BUSY! Even though lots of people will be missing out on Craig's show when he stops touring with Carrie in August, I think the guys might be glad to be going back to a more laid back schedule. Carrie's tour is a great exposure deal for Craig, no doubt. He so deserves to have thousands more people know who he is. Everyone on the floor got up on their feet when Craig first came out - it is awesome to see more people starting to recognize Craig as the voice behind "TWILAS", "RNYC", "Love Remembers", etc... Having to stay in our seats was a bit of a bummer - the crowd was very controlled - although Craig did get down and walk through towards the end of his set.
Can't wait to introduce my daughter to Craig in Austin on May 12. I know she will love the show!! :)
Ya'll remember to keep Craig's momma in your prayers as the family deals with her cancer diagnosis and treatment. For that matter, keep all the families of those that battle cancer on a daily basis lifted up. God can work miracles.
See you guys out on the road somewhere, I hope!
My boys love "Mr. Craig's" music!
